PFP-Consult

PFP-Consult is a Belgian based company founded by Philippe Bekaert who has tens of years of experience in the financial industry. The business goal was and is to put this experience to the service of financial institutions by providing consultancy.

Philippe started in a major Belgian bank as an IT- developer and became functional analyst. After this period he went to SWIFT to work on the eBAM (electronic Bank Account Management) project. He developed the dedicated ISO20022 messages for eBAM initiated the business justification for the new solution to the ISO organisation.

Philippe took also up the role of sr. Business Analyst for the customisation and implementation of a Payments Framework for SEPA and International Payments at SIBS, the Portuguese domestic ACH, and Nordea, an international Scandinavian banking group.

He became project manager for the implementation project of a Payments Platform and for the project concerning the required internal changes for the SEPA roll-out within ING Bank.

The last couple of years Philippe worked as Functional architect on Payments and Cash Management projects in BNPP Fortis.

Recently he started as Functional Architect on the E2E processing of the Solvency II reporting of AG Insurance, the largest Belgian insurance company.
